Sessions will always follow a similar flow. Each session begins with a check-in to see what has shifted or what the client has noticed since the last session. Goals for the current session will be discussed and any questions can be answered. Next, short assessments will take place so Kate can see what structural (postural) or functional (movement) patterns may be present and how she might work with those relationships. The client then moves to the table for about an hour of hands-on work, combined with movement cues. The client may get up from the table to stand or move around and, feel how the work is settling into their body. This assists in building the mind-body connection. We will close the session, seated or standing, with movement integration. This helps the body take the work we’ve done on the table, out into your everyday life and gives a felt sense of the changes made.
